Benchmark indices ended higher on December 6.
Sensex ended 357.59 points up at 69,653.73, whereas Nifty concluded 82.60 points higher at 20,937.70.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 431.02 points up at 69,296.14, whereas Nifty concluded 168.30 points higher at 20,855.10.
Wipro, LTIMindtree, ITC, L&T and TCS were among top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Adani Enterprises, Eicher Motors, Cipla, NTPC and UltraTech Cement.
