Mumbai, May 15 (UNI) The BSE sensex on Wednesday gained further by 205.04 points to 37,523.57 in early trade as renewed buying was witnessed in Materials, Finance, IT, Auto and Metal stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 52.40 points to 11,274.45.
The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 37,552.49 and 37,368.04 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra-day high and low at 11,286.80 and 11,235.35 points respectively.
The gainers were Tata Steel by 1.54 pc to Rs 477, M & M by 1.45 pc to Rs 625, TCS by 1.27 pc to Rs 2120.95, Reliance Industries by 1.24 pc to Rs 1275.10 and ITC by 1.07 pc to Rs 237.15.
The losers were Yes Bank by 4.39 pc to Rs 149.30, Tata Motors DVR by 1.56 pc to Rs 85, Coal India by 1.55 pc to Rs 238.50.
