The domestic benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50 continued their bull run and ended higher on Friday, December 15, touching new all-time high.
Sensex ended 969.55 points up at 71,483.75, whereas Nifty concluded 273.95 points higher at 21,456.65.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 929.60 points up at 70,514.20, whereas Nifty concluded 256.35 points higher at 21,182.70.
In the 30-share BSE Sensex, HCLTech, TCS, and Infosys were top gainers while Nestle, Bharti Airtel, and Maruti were top losers. In the Nifty pack, top gainers included HCLTech, TCS, and Infosys. However, HDFC Life, Nestle, and Bharti Airtel, were among the top losers for the day.
