Indian benchmark indices ended higher on March 6 with Sensex and Nifty hitting fresh record highs..
Sensex ended 408.86 points higher at 74,085.99, whereas Nifty concluded 117.75 points high at 22,474.05.
Top Nifty gainers on the Nifty were Bajaj Auto, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel and SBI Life Insurance, while losers were Adani Enterprises, UltraTech Cement, NTPC, ONGC and BPCL.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 195.16 points lower at 73,677.13, whereas Nifty concluded 49.30 points down at 22,356.30.
