Indian benchmark indices ended marginally higher amid volatility on March 20.
Sensex ended 89.64 points higher at 72,101.69, whereas Nifty concluded 21.65 points up at 21,839.10.
Top gainers on the Nifty included Eicher Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Power Grid Corporation, Nestle India and ONGC, while losers were Tata Steel, Tata Consumer Products, Tata Motors, Axis Bank and Cipla.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 736.38 points lower at 72,012.05, whereas Nifty concluded 238.25 points down at 21,817.45.
