Indian benchmark indices ended on positive note on March 22.
Sensex ended 190.75 points higher at 72,831.94, whereas Nifty concluded 84.80 points up at 22,096.75.
Top gainers on the Nifty included UPL, Maruti Suzuki, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto and Sun Pharma, while losers were Wipro, Infosys, LTIMindtree, HCL Technologies and TCS.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 539.50 points higher at 72,641.19, whereas Nifty concluded 172.85 points up at 22,011.95.
