New Delhi: Sugar stocks surged on Thursday, with most companies witnessing gains in morning trade at 11:00 am.
DCM Shriram Industries led the pack, rising 3.60%, followed by Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals (up 3.54%) and Mawana Sugars (up 2.99%). Other notable gainers included Kothari Sugars & Chemicals, Simbhaoli Sugars, Vishwaraj Sugar Industries, Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar, KM Sugar Mills, EID Parry (India), and Rana Sugars.
However, a few sugar companies saw declines. Dhampur Sugar Mills was the biggest loser, dropping 1.25%, while Balrampur Chini Mills, Dwarikesh Sugar Industries, Avadh Sugar & Energy, and Triveni Engineering & Industries also fell marginally.
