Indian benchmark indices ended on negative note on April 02.
Sensex ended 110.64 points lower at 73,903.91, whereas Nifty concluded 8.70 points down at 22,453.30.
Top Nifty losers were Hero MotoCorp, HCL Technologies, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank and SBI Life Insurance, while gainers included Tata Consumers Products, M&M, BPCL, Bajaj Auto and Adani Ports.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 363.20 points higher at 74,014.55, whereas Nifty concluded 135.10 points up at 22,462.00.
