Indian benchmark indices ended flat on April 05 after Reserve Bank of India kept its key rates unchanged.
Sensex ended 20.59 points marginally higher at 74,248.22, whereas Nifty concluded 0.95 points down at 22,513.70.
Kotak Mahindra, SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finserv and ITC were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were UltraTech Cement, Grasim Industries, Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finance and L&T.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 350.81 points higher at 74,227.63, whereas Nifty concluded 80.00 points up at 22,514.65.
