Indian benchmark indices ended lower on April 18.
Sensex ended 454.69 points lower at 72,488.99, whereas Nifty concluded 152.05 points down at 21,995.85.
Biggest losers on the Nifty included Apollo Hospitals, Nestle India, ONGC, Adani Enterprises and Titan Company, while gainers were Bharti Airtel, Power Grid Corporation, Hindalco Industries, Bajaj Auto and LTIMindtree.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 456.10 points lower at 72,943.68, whereas Nifty concluded 124.60 points down at 22,147.90.
