Bijnor: Director of Bindal Sugar Mill, Sanskar Bindal, along with Cane Head Jitendra Malik, visited the sugarcane mill area on Tuesday, reported Live Hindustan.
During the visit, they inspected the sugarcane variety demonstration plot at the farm of Avnish Kumar in village Linderpur Gram Survey, village Himpur Prathama. They also interacted with the regional farmers in the field.
Director Sanskar Bindal appreciated the hard work being done by the farmers in sugarcane cultivation and asked them to increase the yield per unit area for the coming year. He then inspected the variety demonstration plot at the farm of Surender Singh in village Seh, the trench planting demonstration plot of Lila in village Abid Nagar Dhundhli, and the sugarcane sowing demonstration plot of Dharampal Singh in the same village.
Farmers of Abid Nagar Dhundhli informed that this time around 70 per cent of sugarcane sowing in the village has been done through trench planting.
