Bannari Amman Sugars Limited on May 23 announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended Mar 31, 2024.
Performance overview:
Revenue from operations at 421.16 crore in March 2024 down 35.84% from Rs. 656.44 crore in March 2023.
Quarterly Net Profit at Rs. 21.83 crore in March 2024 down 56.26% from Rs. 49.92 crore in March 2023.
Bannari Amman EPS has decreased to Rs. 17.41 in March 2024 from Rs. 39.81 in March 2023.
For the full year, net profit rose 6.21% to Rs 152.30 crore in the year ended March 2024 as against Rs 143.39 crore during the previous year ended March 2023. Revenue from operations declined 12.09% to Rs 2220.32 crore in the year ended March 2024 as against Rs 2525.58 crore during the previous year ended March 2023.

Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held yesterday has inter alia:
(i) Considered and approved the Audited Financial Statements for the Quarter and Year ended 31st March, 2024;
(ii) Recommended a dividend of Rs. 12. 50 (Rupees twelve and paise fifty only) per equity
share (125%) of Rs.10 each for the financial year ended 31st March, 2024 subject to the
approval of the members at the ensuing Annual General Meeting;
(iii) Approved the appointment of Mis C Thirumurthy & Associates (FCS:3454 CP:5179)
Practising Company Secretaries as Secretarial Auditors of the Company for the financial
year 2024-2025 (Brief Profile is attached – Annexure-1); &
(iv) Approved the appointment of Mr Nagarajan, Cost Accountant (Mmebership No.6384) as
Cost Auditor of the Company to conduct audit of cost accounting records for the financial
year 2024-2025
