Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh: The District Cane Officer Om Prakash inspected the ongoing sugarcane survey work in the district on Monday.
During the inspection, he measured the area of the sugarcane crop. He instructed the survey personnel to complete the survey work by June 15. He stated that all survey workers should adhere strictly to the survey policy and complete the survey work transparently by the set deadline of June 15, 2024. He stressed that no negligence should be tolerated in the survey work.
He requested farmers to be present in their respective sugarcane fields during the sugarcane survey provide accurate information to the survey personnel, and ensure they receive the survey slip after it is completed. He inspected the survey of farmer Devki Nandan’s field in the village of Baj Nagar under the Nyoli Cane Committee. The field boundaries were measured, and an area of 0.062 hectares of sugarcane was recorded. The field was re-measured using tape, and no significant difference was found between the previously surveyed area and the area measured during the inspection.
