Indian benchmark indices ended on higher note on June 18.
Sensex ended 308.37 points up at 77,301.14, whereas Nifty concluded 92.30 points higher at 23,557.90.
Power Grid Corporation Of India, Wipro, Titan Company, Mahindra & Mahindra, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank were the major gainers. Maruti Suzuki India, UltraTech Cement, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, ITC and Tata Consultancy Services were the biggest laggards.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 181.88 points up at 76,992.77, whereas Nifty concluded 66.70 points higher at 23,465.60.
