The equity benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty ended lower on June 21.
Sensex ended 269.03 points down at 77,209.90, whereas Nifty concluded 65.90 points lower at 23,501.10.
Bharti Airtel, LTIMindtree, Adani Ports, Hindalco and Infosys were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Adani Enterprises, UltraTech Cement, BPCL, Tata Motors and Tata Consumer Products.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 141.34 points up at 77,478.93, whereas Nifty concluded 51.00 points up at 23,567.00.
