Amroha, Uttar Pradesh: The district administration has issued a warning against sugar mills that fail to clear cane dues by July 25. DM has warned to issue recovery certificates (RC) against the mills that fail to clear 100% dues by this date, reported Live Hindustan.
A meeting was held in the Collectorate auditorium on Friday afternoon, chaired by DM Rajesh Kumar Tyagi, to solve the problems faced by farmers. The DM expressed dissatisfaction with sugar mills for not making full cane price payments. He directed that 100% payment must be completed by July 25. Failing this, recovery certificates (RC) will be issued, and reductions will be made at the centres.
Others present included ADM Finance and Revenue Surendra Singh, BKU former district president Rampal Singh, district president Dr Chandrapal Singh, Surendra Singh, Jaykiran Singh, and other concerned officials along with farmers.
