Indian benchmark indices ended higher on Thursday.
Sensex ended 126.21 points higher at 81,867.55, whereas Nifty concluded 59.75 points up at 25,010.90.
Coal India, Power Grid Corp, Shriram Finance, Dr Reddy’s Labs and ONGC were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were M&M, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv and SBI.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 285.95 points higher at 81,741.34, whereas Nifty concluded 93.85 points up at 24,951.15.
