Lucknow: Ajay Kumar, MLA from Chhaprauli constituency raised the issue of pending cane dues by Malakpur sugar mill in the State Assembly.
Kumar raised the issue stating that the Malakpur sugar mill owes dues worth Rs 230 crore to the cane farmers. Farmers are facing hardship due to this and have launched several agitations at district levels for their demand. Hence it is necessary to ensure that they get their dues at the earliest, he said.
