Indian benchmark indices ended lower on Friday.
Sensex ended 885.59 points lower at 80,981.95, whereas Nifty concluded 293.20 points up at 24,717.70.
Biggest Nifty losers were Eicher Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hindalco Industries, JSW Steel, while gainers included Divis Labs, HDFC Bank, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Sun Pharma and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 126.21 points higher at 81,867.55, whereas Nifty concluded 59.75 points up at 25,010.90.
