Bahedi : Sugar mills should clear pending cane dues to the farmers on a priority basis else the purchasing centres of mills that fail to make timely payments to farmers will be reassigned to other mills, warned Union Minister of State, Jitin Prasada, reports Amar Ujala.
The minister was speaking during his visit to the village of Mirzapur Aurangabad on Tuesday.
He assured that he would discuss the matter with the Minister of Sugarcane.
