The equity benchmark indices ended flat on Monday amid volatility.
Sensex ended 12.16 points lower at 80,424.68, whereas Nifty concluded 31.50 points up at 24,572.65.
Top Nifty gainers were Hindalco Industries, BPCL, Shriram Finance, Tata Steel and LTIMindtree, while losers were M&M, Bajaj Auto, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank and SBI Life Insurance.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 1,330.96 points higher at 80,436.84, whereas Nifty concluded 397.40 points up at 24,541.15.
