Haryana: Chief Minister promises to set up sugar mill in Naraingarh

Ambala: In a bid to garner support from sugarcane farmers who usually protest for their dues from Naraingarh Sugar Mills Ltd, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini assured to establish a cooperative sugar mill in Naraingarh if re-elected, reports The Tribune.

Addressing the ‘Mhara Haryana Non-Stop Haryana Jan Ashirwad Rally’ in Naraingarh, the Chief Minister stated, “Sugarcane farmers in Ambala, Panchkula, and the Radaur region of Yamunanagar have faced continuous issues with the Naraingarh Sugar Mills. Therefore, we have resolved to set up a cooperative sugar mill in Naraingarh. The land has already been identified, and the panchayat has allocated it for this purpose. We will include this promise in our manifesto to address the concerns of sugarcane farmers. I know every issue in Naraingarh will be resolved once we form the next government.”
