Indian equity indices ended on positive note with Nifty around 25,050 on August 28.
Sensex ended 73.80 points higher at 81,785.56, whereas Nifty concluded 34.60 points up at 25,052.35.
Biggest Nifty gainers were LTIMindtree, Wipro, Divis Labs, IndusInd Bank and Bharti Airtel, while losers were Maruti Suzuki, Nestle India, Asian Paints, Adani Enterprises and Britannia Industries.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 13.65 points higher at 81,711.76, whereas Nifty concluded 7.15 points up at 25,017.75.
