Multi-trade organization Vibaantta Global has ventured into the sugar business with its acquisition of US-based BGE Global Distribution Inc. earlier this year, aiming to manage the trade of this commodity, reported The Hindu BusinessLine.
As per news report, the company’s director Paras Sachdev said that it plans to open a subsidiary of BGE Global Distribution, a Florida-based company specialising in the distribution of food-based commodities, particularly refined sugar sourced from Brazil and other South American countries, in Brazil for the sugar business and import ethanol into India.
Having recently entered the rice market, Vibaantta is now focusing on the sugar trade, specifically ICUMSA 45 sugar.
