Nakur, Uttar Pradesh: The Bharatiya Kisan Union (Jankalyan) submitted a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister, seeking swift resolution of various issues faced by farmers. On Tuesday, under the leadership of the organization’s national president, Chaudhary Kanwarpal Sirohi, farmers handed over the memorandum to SDM Sangeeta Raghav, reports Amar Ujala.
The memorandum, addressed to the Chief Minister, included demands like increasing the price of sugarcane to ₹500 per quintal.
Chaudhary Nawab Singh, Bhup Singh, Omveer, Nathiram, Rakam Singh Arya, Brajpal, Shivkumar, and Sonu Kumar were present during the meeting.
