The annual general meeting of the West Indian Sugar Mills Association (WISMA), Pune concluded on Saturday, 31st August, 2024 at Pune. In this meeting, the election officer of WISMA, Executive Director Ajit Chougule, announced that the new executive board members of WISMA were elected unanimously for the period 2024-27. WISMA is the apex body of 133 private sugar mills in Maharashtra state.

Rohit Pawar (MLA) – Chief Executive Officer, Baramati Agro Ltd., District-Pune
Dr. Pandurang Raut – Chairman and Managing Director, Srinath Mhaskoba Sugar Factory Ltd., District-Pune
Bajrang Sonwane (MP) – Chairman and Managing Director, Yedeshwari Agro Products Ltd., District-Beed
Mahesh Deshmukh – Chairman, Lokmangal Industries Group, District-Solapur
Ranjeet Mulay – Managing Director, Gangamai Industries and Constructions Ltd., District-Ahmednagar
Yashwardhan Dahake – Chairman, Parag Agro Foods and Allied Products Pvt. Ltd., District-Pune
Gauravi Bhosale – Chairperson and Managing Director, Jagruti Sugar and Allied Industries Ltd., District-Latur
Yogesh Patil – Executive Director, Athani Sugars Ltd., District-Satara
Rahul Ghatge – Executive Director, Shri Gurudutt Sugars Ltd., District-Kolhapur
Rohit Nara – CFO, Sadguru Sri Sri Sakhar Karkhana Ltd., District-Sangli
The newly elected WISMA Executive Board meeting on Saturday, September 14, 2024 unanimously elected the following office-bearers for a term of three years (2024-2027), declared Election Officer Ajit Chougule.

iii) Dr. Pandurang Raut – General Secretary
The newly constituted executive board also unanimously elected the following expert dignitaries as honorary members of the sugar industry.
i) Shekhar Gaikwad – Additional Director General YASHADA and Former Sugar Commissioner, Maharashtra State
ii) Ravi Gupta – Executive Director, Shri Renuka Sugars Ltd., New Delhi
