ISMA to host 2nd edition of ‘The India Sugar & Bio-Energy Conference’ on September 26th and 27th in Delhi

The Indian Sugar & Bio-Energy Manufacturers Association (ISMA) is all set to host the 2nd edition of ‘The India Sugar & Bio-Energy Conference’ on 26th & 27th September at JW Marriott, Aerocity in New Delhi. In collaboration with the Government of India (GOI) and the International Sugar Organisation (ISO), this year’s theme, ‘Harmonising Sweet Sustainability: Navigating India’s Path to a Green Economy’, will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and stakeholders to drive dialogue, innovation, and collaboration for sustainable growth and development of the sugar and bio-energy industries.

The second edition of the conference will be inaugurated by Shri Pralhad Joshi (Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution & New & Renewable Energy, Government of India). The inauguration ceremony will also witness Mr. Deepak Ballani (Director General of ISMA) delivering a Vote of Thanks and officially launching ISMA Times – the apex body’s dedicated magazine that will capture all the major happenings and lead you to the future of the sugar and bio-energy industry.

Some of the key conference sessions to watch out for:

· ‘Global Sugar Production – S&D Dynamics’ will throw light on global sugar market trends, export opportunities, and emerging market scenarios.

· ‘Optimising Sugarcane Production in India’ is centered on busting the myths and discussing the support required & innovations to increase yield.

· ‘Ethanol – Production, Distribution, & Consumption’ is aimed at discussing the infrastructure readiness, the future of FFVs & Hybrids, and India’s journey to E100.

· ‘Integrating Sustainability into Sugar Production’ will explore innovative approaches to incorporating sustainability into every stage of sugar production.

· ‘Data Analytics & AI for Production Forecast and Mill Strategies’ is focused on how data analytics can enhance sugarcane production forecasting and improve yield prediction accuracy.
