Saharanpur: Under the guidance of the local Sugarcane Development Council, a group of 50 progressive farmers departed by bus on Tuesday for a one-day training program at the Sugarcane Research and Training Institute in Muzaffarnagar. The bus was flagged off by District Sugarcane Officer Sushil Kumar and Sugar Mill General Manager Jaiprakash Singh, reports Live Hindustan.
Jyeshtha Sugarcane Development Council Inspector Markandey Maurya informed that the department had made free arrangements for the farmers’ transportation, as well as food and snacks. Several officials, including Mill Cane Officer SK Srivas, Chief Accountant RKP Varun, and Vinod Pundeer, were present alongside a large number of farmers.
