Indian equity indices ended higher on Wednesday in the volatile session.
Sensex ended 255.83 points higher at 85,169.87, whereas Nifty concluded 63.75 points up at 26,004.15.
Power Grid Corp, NTPC, Axis Bank, Grasim Industries, Bajaj Finserv were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers are LTIMindtree, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consumer, Tata Motors and Titan Company.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 14.57 points lower at 84,914.04, whereas Nifty concluded 1.35 points up at 25,940.40.
