On Friday, members of BKU (Doaba) met with Kapurthala DC and Phagwara SDM Jashanjit Singh regarding the outstanding payments owed by Golden Sandhar Sugar Mills.
A delegation headed by BKU general secretary Satnam Singh Sahni requested that the officials auction 10 kanal, 12 marla land of the mill instead of seven kanal.
