Domestic Market
Domestic sugar prices were stable
After a slight increase, domestic sugar prices were reported to be stable across markets. Sellers remained inactive in anticipation of price increases before the holiday season. Demand is described as average and need-based.
M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar ranges from Rs 3,930 to Rs 3,980 per quintal, while S-grade sugar in Kolhapur costs between Rs 3,590 and Rs 3,660. Agrimandi.live forecasts that S-grade sugar prices in Kolhapur will fall between Rs 3,500 and Rs 3,650 per quintal in the coming days.

At the time of writing this update London White Sugar #5 front month contract is trading at $585.20 ton, whereas the New York Sugar #11 front month contract is trading at 23.23 c/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 83.989 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.4779, Crude futures traded at ₹6301, Crude WTI traded at $74.82 barrel. Sensex closed 808.65 points lower at 81688.45 whereas Nifty closed 200.25 points lower at 25049.85
