DCM Shriram commissions ‘Flexi-fuel Flaker plant’ of 300 TPD capacity in Gujarat

DCM Shriram Ltd. has successfully commissioned a 300 TPD Flexi-fuel Flaker Plant at its Jhagadia facility in Bharuch, Gujarat, on October 17, 2024. This development represents a key advancement in the company’s initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.

Furthermore, the company has announced that a second flaker unit of identical make and capacity is also in the final stages of completion and is expected to be commissioned next quarter.

Being flexi-fuel, the state-of-the-art plant allows for multiple fuel choices, thereby providing for much higher sustainability and efficiency considerations at all times. This additional flaker capacity will allow the Company’s Chemicals business to reach distant markets, especially through exports.
