BCL Industries Limited has been allocated a quantity of 18.25 crore liters of ethanol for the Ethanol Supply Year (ESY) 2024-25, compared to 16.94 crore liters for ESY 2023-24. The current allocation is higher than the previous one, and it can be attributed to the additional 100 KLPD capacity addition at M/s. Svaksha Distillery Limited during financial year 2023-24.
BCL Industries Limited along with its subsidiary M/s. Svaksha Distillery Limited had participated in a tender floated by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) under EBPP for ESY 24-25 at their various locations across the country.
According to the industry experts, total tender value for ethanol supply of BCL Industries will be more than Rs. 1200 crore.
Recently, BCL Industries had announced that it is in the process of acquiring Goyal Distillery, which is located in Fatehabad, Haryana, and possesses the necessary land and permissions for establishing a 250 KLPD grain-based ethanol unit.
OMCs have allocated around 837 crore liters of ethanol against 970 crore liters of offers submitted by manufacturers across the country for Ethanol Supply Year (ESY) 2024-25 – Cycle 1. OMCs had invited tenders for the supply of 916 crore liters of ethanol for ESY 2024-25.
