Indian benchmark indices ended on a weak note on Friday.
Sensex ended 662.87 points down at 79,402.29, whereas Nifty concluded 218.60 points lower at 24,180.80.
IndusInd Bank, BPCL, Adani Enterprises, Shriram Finance, and M&M are among the top losers on the Nifty, while gainers are ITC, Sun Pharma, Britannia Industries, HUL and Axis Bank.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 16.82 points down at 80,065.16, whereas Nifty concluded 36.10 points lower at 24,399.40
Indian rupee ended flat at 84.08 per dollar on Friday versus previous close of 84.07.
