Indian equity indices ended on positive note on November 19.
Sensex ended 239.38 points higher at 77,578.38, whereas Nifty concluded 64.70 points up at 23,518.50.
M&M, Trent, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Bank and Eicher Motors are among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers are SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Life, Reliance Industries, Tata Consumer and Hindalco.
Indian rupee ended marginally lower at 84.41 per dollar on Tuesday versus Monday’s close of 84.39.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 241.30 points lower at 77,339.01, whereas Nifty concluded 78.90 points down at 234,53.80
