Indian equity indices ended on positive note on November 25.
Sensex ended 992.74 points higher at 80,109.85, whereas Nifty concluded 314.65 points up at 24,221.90.
ONGC, BPCL, Bharat Electronics, SBI and L&T are among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers are JSW Steel, Infosys, Bajaj Auto, Tech Mahindra and Asian Paints.
Indian rupee ended 17 paise higher at 84.28 per dollar on Monday versus Friday’s close of 84.45.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 1,961.32 points higher at 79,117.11, whereas Nifty concluded 557.35 points up at 23,907.25.
