Cogeneration Association of India, Pune (Cogen India) announced the results for the National Cogeneration Awards 2024.
This year total Twenty-one (21) awards shall be given to recognize individuals and institutions separately for the Co-operative and Private sector projects and bifurcated for technical categories of 80 bar Boiler capacity ‘Above’ and ‘Below’.
The awards were instituted from 2022 and the journey continues in the third year now. Fourteen (14) individual officials working in the Cogeneration Power Plants shall be honoured as Best Cogen Manager, Best Instrumentation Manager / In Charge, Best DM-WTP Manager / In-Charge and Best Electrical Manager under the Individual category awards. In addition, seven (7) awards by way of Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies shall be awarded to the Best Cogeneration Plants under the Institutional category awards.
In addition, twelve (12) consistent performers & achievers since the launch of the awards scheme shall be honoured separately. Thus, totally Thirty-three (33) awards shall be distributed to the winners at the awards ceremony.
The 1st National Cogeneration Awards 2022 were distributed at the august hands of Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon. Minister (Road Transport & Highways), Govt. of India.
The Awards Ceremony shall be held in the august presence of noted eminent dignitaries and officers from the Central we well as State Government. The awards ceremony is likely to be held during January 11 or 25, 2025 in Pune. The exact date / venue shall be conveyed shortly.
Shri Sharadchandra Pawar, Hon. M.P. (Rajya Sabha) and President – Cogen India shall preside over the function in the presence of Shri Jaiprakash Dandegaonkar, Vice President of the Association.
