Bajaj Energy and Lalitpur Power Generation Company Limited (LPGCL) have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to water conservation at the prestigious Water Optimisation Awards 2025. The awards, organized by the Mission Energy Foundation, honor organizations that demonstrate exceptional water management practices.
LPGCL has been awarded the ‘Best Zero Liquid Discharge Plant of the Year’, while Bajaj Energy Limited (BEL) has received the ‘Best Water Reuse and Recycling Plant of the Year’ award. This achievement is a testament to the companies’ commitment to sustainable water management practices.
Dr. AV Singh, Chief Sustainability Officer of Bajaj Group, was also recognized as the ‘Best Water Efficient Leader of the Year’, a special award under the individual category. The awards were presented by Shri Suresh Prabhu, renowned politician and former Central Minister, and Shri RN Jindal, former Director of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC).
