Indian equity indices ended lower on February 06.
Sensex ended 213.12 points lower at 78,058.16, whereas Nifty concluded 92.95 points down at 23,603.35.
Trent, Bharat Electronics, Bharti Airtel, Titan Company, NTPC were among the top losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Cipla, Adani Ports, Infosys, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Tata Consumer.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 312.53 points lower at 78,271.28, whereas Nifty concluded 42.95 points down at 23,696.30.
Indian rupee ended at fresh record low at 87.57 per dollar on Thursday versus Wednesday’s close of 87.46.
