Indian equity markets ended flat on February 19 amid volatility.

In the previous season, at the close of the trading today, the BSE Sensex was in red, 29.47 points or 0.04 per cent at 75,967.39, and the Nifty was down 14.20 points or 0.06 per cent at 22,945.30.

Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, opened lower on Wednesday, pressured by index heavyweights Reliance Industries, Infosys, and banking stocks amid mixed global cues. In the afternoon, the indices traded flat, with gains in financial stocks outweighing losses in pharma, driven by Trump’s tariff threats.
