Indian equity indices ended flat amid volatility on March 07.
Sensex ended 7.52 points lower at 74,332.58, whereas Nifty concluded 7.80 points up at 22,552.50.
Reliance Industries, Nestle, Bajaj Auto, Bharat Electronics, Hindalco are among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers are IndusInd Bank, NTPC, Shriram Finance, Infosys, HCL Technologies.
In the previous season, Sensex surged 609.87 points to close at 74,340.09, while the Nifty 50 climbed 207.40 points to end at 22,544.70.
Indian rupee ended 23 paise higher at 86.88 per dollar on Friday against previous close of 87.11.
