Narkatiyaganj, Bihar: The New Swadeshi Sugar Mill in Narkatiaganj will conclude its 2024-25 sugarcane crushing season on March 9, the mill administration announced, reported Live Hindustan.
The Executive Vice President (Cane Development) of the mill issued the third and final notice regarding the season’s closure. Initially, the crushing season was scheduled to end on March 8, but an extension of one day was granted as some farmers still had standing sugarcane in their fields.
The notice urged farmers to ensure the supply of their sugarcane to the mill by March 9 to facilitate a smooth completion of the crushing season.
