Domestic Market

Domestic sugar prices were reported stable

Domestic sugar prices in the major markets of Karnataka and Maharashtra were said to be relatively stable due to low demand. Despite the lower monthly quota, spot market prices are under pressure due to dull demand.

According to reports, sugar for export is currently selling for approximately Rs 44,000 per MT, with prices rising at a reasonable contract rate. The most active contract values London whites at $532 per MT, with low-quality whites priced at par until $470 per MT. M-grade sugar in Muzaffarnagar ranges between Rs 3,980 and Rs 4,040 per quintal, whereas S-grade sugar in Kolhapur costs between Rs 3,750 and Rs 3,810.
