After suffering a heart attack in the evening senior BJP leader and Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, 67, passed away at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). According to reports, she was brought to AIIMS at 10:15 PM. Sushma Swaraj’s husband and other family members along with Dr Harshvardhan, Piyush Goyal, Pralhad Joshi and Nitin Gadkari, are present at AIIMS.

Earlier on Tuesday she expressed content over the passing of key bills pertaining to Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the same. “Thank you Prime Minister. Thank you very much. I was waiting to see this day in my lifetime,” Swaraj tweeted.
