Mumbai: On Tuesday, the benchmark indices ended in a red mark. Sensex on 3rd September 2019 ended 769.88 points lower at 36,562.91. Similarly, NSE Nifty ended 225.35 down at 10,797.90.
Tech Mahindra and HCL Tech were among the top gainers today.
Top losers in the Sensex pack included HDFC twins, Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank, Larsen & Toubro and Axis Bank.
In the previous season on Friday Sensex ended 263.86 points higher at 37,332.79. Similarly, NSE Nifty ended 74.95 points up at 11,023.25.
The rupee was trading at 72.22 a dollar compare to its Friday’s close of 71.42.
