Mumbai: Sensex on 4th September 2019 ended 161.83 points higher at 36,724.74. Similarly, NSE Nifty ended 46.75 up at 10,844.65.
Tata Steel, BPCL, IOC, Dr Reddy’s Labs and JSW Steel were among the top gainers today on the Nifty.
Top losers included Maruti Suzuki, Sun Pharma, Britannia Industries, Tata Motors and Asian Paints.
In the previous season on Tuesday BSE Sensex ended 769.88 points lower at 36,562.91. Similarly, NSE Nifty ended 225.35 down at 10,797.90.
The rupee was trading at 72.071 against the dollar.
