Mumbai: BSE Sensex today on 9th September 2019 was trading 147.20 points lower at 36,834.57 at 9:30 am. On the other hand, the NSE Nifty rose 31 points at 10,915.20 in morning trade. Similarly, at 10:00 am, Sensex was trading at 36935.20 points, and Nifty was trading at 10929.35 points.
Sun Pharma, HUL, Bharti Airtel, L&T, RIL, Bajaj Finance and ITC were among the top gainers rising up to 1.66 per cent.
Tata Motors, Maruti, Tata Steel, HCL Tech, IndusInd Bank, Vedanta, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, HDFC duo, NTPC and Axis Bank were among the top losers falling up to 2.47 per cent.
On the currency front, the Indian rupee was trading flat against its previous close at 71.72 in early session.
The global oil benchmark Brent crude was trading 0.96 per cent higher at 62.14 per barrel.
