Mumbai: Sensex closed on 1st October 2019 at 361.92 points lower at 38,305.41. Similarly, Nifty too ended 115 points down at 11,359.90.
Top gainers included HDFC, HDFC Bank, and M&M. While YES Bank (down 15 per cent), IndusInd Bank (down 5 per cent), and Bharti Airtel (down 4 per cent) were among the top losers today.
In the previous season on Monday Sensex ended 155.24 points lower at 38,667.33. Similarly, Nifty too ended 37.95 points down at 11,474.45. The rupee is trading at 71.12 against the dollar.
