Mumbai: Sensex closed on 15th October 2019 at 291.62 points higher at 38,506.09. Similarly, Nifty too ended 87.15 points up at 11,428.30.
Vedanta, ONGC, Maruti, Hero MotoCorp, M&M, Hindustan Unilever, Kotak Bank and Bajaj Auto were among the top gainers today, while Tata Motors, Infosys and Bharti Airtel were among the top losers.
In the previous season on Tuesday, Sensex closed at 87.39 points higher at 38,214.47. Similarly, Nifty too ended 36.10 points up at 11,341.15.
The rupee is trading at 71.466 against the dollar.
