Mumbai: Sensex closed on 17th October 2019 at 453.07 points higher at 39,052.06. Similarly, Nifty too ended 118.30 points up at 11,582.30.
YES Bank, IndusInd Bank and Asian Paints were among the top gainers today, while Vedanta, Tata Steel, and Tech Mahindra were among the top losers.
In the previous season on Wednesday Sensex closed at 92.90 points higher at 38,598.99. Similarly, Nifty too ended 35.70 points up at 11,464.00.
The rupee is trading at 71.19 against the dollar.
